Is miscarriage bleeding start of period or not?

Hi all I lost my baby on Sunday and wondering is the bleeding I'm having now classed as my period so start of a new cycle or do I stop bleeding then have my period?

For tracking purposes you can class the initial bleed as a period and CD1 but it isn’t a true period. Your period is likely not return when it would have done.

My MC bleed was my CD1. My next ‘true’ period was not until around CD45.
