Hi, just looking for some advice really! As some background - I had my hormonal coil removed in Dec as wasn’t getting on with it. I had it for nearly 2 years and didn’t have a period the entire time. I then unexpectedly fell pregnant immediately after the coil removal, whilst a shock this was very happy news for us. I then unfortunately miscarried at 5 1/2 weeks. My period arrived 6 weeks later - I had read that the first period after a miscarriage can arrive a bit later. DH and I then decided rather than TTC properly straight away, we would just see what happens. We DTD three times the week I believed I should ovulate last month (assuming a 30 day cycle per my app) and had EWCM the same week. Fast forward to today and I still haven’t had a period, today is CD40. I have tested multiple times and all are BFN. I am experiencing horrible mood swings and my boobs feel fuller, but don’t feel like AF will be arriving any time soon. Has anyone else had experience of delayed periods/long cycles following hormonal coil removal and/or miscarriage? Hate having no idea what is happening, I feel the chances of me being pregnant are slim to none but really needing that certainty as I’m winding myself up 😔 the miscarriage has made me realise how much I want a baby! Does anyone also have any advice on how long I should wait before speaking to the GP, or if I should assume I’ve skipped a period altogether?
