Negative OPK on CD13, is it not happening this month?

I never got a +opk this month, cervical position was high and I had cm and a not-quite +opk on cd9 and since then cm has changed to white and scant and cervical position has lowered and hardened.
Idk what anyone thinks, if it's likely not to happen this month?

You could just be ovulating later. I usually don’t ovulate until cycle day 19/20

Hi mine was the same when first using opks properly, maybe even a lot fainter, I wouldn’t worry too much!

Mine kept getting darker until I peaked on cd16 so you’ve still time!xx

I'm currently OPK and BBT this cycle, fed up of seeing these low OPK's now 🙈 but I have been testing since CD9 just to be on the safe side. As I don't really know when I'm ovulating. My last two cycles were different lengths 😩 35days and 27 🙄

Do you tend to ovulate around the same time each month? X

I'm CD20 and still haven't had a peak test yet...

@allthingssparkly after tha cycle I didn’t test because I was feeling so deflated so I’m not sure that month but last month I didn’t peak until cd19 so there is a bit of difference in how many days.

This cycle I started testing yesterday (cd7) and I had a pretty dark test, propbanly the darkest I’ve had this early on, although not quite positive.

It’s all very hard to get my head around sometimes😂x

Honestly why does it have to be so bloody complicated 😩😩 I had none of this ttc with my two children it just happened so quickly so I count myself lucky in that respect.

@allthingssparkly yeah it’s our first, we’ve been trying for about a year now so I’m getting very fed up!

My partners brother has just found out him and his girlfriend are having a baby and they conceived straight away which was a bit of a kick in the teeth😬x

How heartbreaking for you @Chlo1995 😥 it really is awful when your ttc and the people around you seem to get pregnant imminently 😩 you feel like you can't be happy for them when it's not happening for you. I do feel how your feeling sometimes, I know lots of people pregnant at the moment and all I can think about when I see announcements is when is it going to be my turn.

@allthingssparkly it’s crazy because I’m soooo happy for them, it’s their first baby and she’s 33 so she was really worried it may not happen for a while but then on the other hand I’m only 26 and it’s taken us a year (and counting!) I had a little cry about it the day before my period came because I just knew it hadn’t happened for us again😔

My friend also had her 3rd unplanned baby in September and that really annoyed me😬

I have been told to maybe take a pregnancy test because I’ve got darker opks very early on this cycle but I don’t want to get excited by it for it to not come of anything, I may just have to wait it out and see how things go, I have heard some people get quite dark readings straight after their period and then they get lighter until close to peak so we’ll see how we go😬x

Thanks for the feedback all :) I had a chemical/early loss last month so maybe that's throwing me off. I think either I o'd early on cd9 or it won't happen...or maybe it will later this month...no change so far...so frustrating! Last time I had a loss at this time I didn't o at all the next cycle.

@Chlo1995 If it wasn't a proper period you had could it not have been implantation? & that you possibly are pregnant having strong OPK's? I'd do a pregnancy test Incase 😊 but yes I think some do ovulate soon after their period ends but I didn't think it was overly common, who knows!

@allthingssparkly well I think it was but it was a bit of a weird one for me, like I’ve never had before really! I had brown spotting for one day, then medium to heavy bleeding for a day and then brown spotting for 1-2 days after that so it lasted no longer than 3-4 days which is veeeeery strange for me!

I just wouldn’t want to get my hopes up with it but since yesterday I’ve had weird twinges in my lower stomach…

I’d also feel so guilty if I was because I got ridiculously drunk at a bonfire on Saturday😂x

But also looking at this, if I was pregnant it would be right on time from when we last bd soooo very confused by it all!x

The only way you'll know for sure is to take a pregnancy test 🙂 but I totally on understand you don't want to feel disheartened if it's negative 😩

It maybe a sign with also having some twinges too unless that's normal for you?

I'm getting a little over excited just done another opk and it's the highest reading out of all so far 😬😬😬 I know they can change from low to peak quicky too! Will test again tonight 🤞

It’s just so strange as I feel ‘full’ which is usually only a before and during af thing for me😂 I’m so nervous about it but I suppose it’s probably best to do one to rule it out, if not I’ll just stress about it!

Definitely not pregnant but at least that’s that ruled out, guess I’ve just got pretty strong opks early on!x
