Tmi warning! Attached pic of spotting!

Hi! So as the title suggests, I thought I was 7dpo and I've just had spotting after going for a number 2. I've had bizarre cycles for a few months and am easing myself back into bbt and doing ovulation tests so I haven't been doing it religiously. I started opk tests around cd 16 this cycle and it was dark and seemed to be building up to a peak. One of my apps measured the tests as high and peak but typically I ran out of tests and missed a day (around mid afternoon cd 17 was when I last tested, and then again cd 19 mid afternoon but had returned to low levels by then). I noticed a lot of ewcm on cd 18 and had cramps cd 16-18 so assumed it had happened. I have been sporadically testing my temp this month and it has shown a rise on cd 19 but isn't 100% accurate as I haven't done it all cycle. Everything pointed to me ovulating around cd 18 and I'm currently cd 25. I've been feeling like af is on her way for about 3 days now so naturally I'm really concerned this is it.

Now I'm questioning everything though, as last cycle I started spotting 4/5 days before my actual period arrived. It was only there when I wiped but it was exactly 4 weeks ago today so now I'm questioning whether that was actually the start of my cycle? Which would mess up all my other calculations too.

So ladies, what do we think? Could this be implantation bleeding? Or have I miscalculated where I'm at in my cycle? I really thought I ovulated last sun though which would mean I'm not due for another 7 days, could I really be spotting this early?

It honestly sounds to me as though you ovulated when you thought you did, and that your spotting is in your lateral phase. How long are your cycles? It could well be implantation bleeding if you're not due for AF for a week, but it's hard to say. Are you still spotting now? Xx

@GoT1904 hi again from the April thread! My cycles are normally 31 days, I was expecting this one to be 32 days. But I have only had one typical cycle since a loss last October, the rest have been longer. So I'm not sure what is normal at the mo. I told myself I'd just be pleased to have a normal cycle this month but can't help but feel disappointment to possibly be out so early. Plus its just such a pain to be spotting so early before af. Isn't a standard period miserable enough lol
