New cycle - trying SMEP!

Hi everyone, wondered if anyone wants to join me on a fresh cycle! CD2 today. This is our 3rd cycle properly trying for our first baby. We've decided to try the SMEP method this time.. why not you know!

Anyone else trying the SMEP method? My cycles are generally 30-33 days and I usually ovulate on CD18-20. I have a high BMI but am concentrating on movement I enjoy and eating nourishing food rather than weight loss 😊 Oh and we're 28 and 29 🥰

Well, the smep didn't work and the witch has arrived today. I am quite annoyed right now rghhh had some hopes

Sorry to hear this kitty! my plan isn't going as I thought... CD9 was first dance but I was on top and felt it dripping when I came off (sorry tmi!) And today my OPK is at 0.46 but I just got a peak on my clear blue cd10.... loosing my mind x

I heard position doesnt matter, honestly i been lifting my legs up in the air during he whole fertile week and yet nothing🤣 oh i have deleted the easy@home app, never understood them numbers so i just go but what my eyes see and the CB digital

Really? That makes me feel better, I have been upset this morning thinking about it..
I don't really get the numbers either but I keep the strips and put them into my book so I can see a bit better lol.

Just seems so early CD10 to have a peak when the last few months have been CD18/CD16 x

Hi long is your cycle? Last month i got an early peak, then low then went to peak again 3 days later. Not sure what happened that cycle.

Yes seems quite early, mines are very short, 23 days hence why i try to extend them. It used to be 26 before i had ds

@Kitty901 do you have any advice? I don't have any children. I am going to keep DTD.
I have been going for reflexology could that have done anything?

I doubt reflexology affects fertility, so many other factors that do unfortunately. I wish i had an advice or a tip that worked, i would give it to anyone trying to conceive and use it myself too, would have been amazing! Our first took 6 months, by that point i was completely freaked out there is something wrong with us and i will never get pregnant. I am currently on month 5 now and starting to worry again, having 1 child doesn't mean i can have another. My short cycles worry me a lot. I sometimes think what we did differently that i got pregnant but don't think there was anything. I honestly think it is just a matter of luck unfortunately like playing the lottery. Wish it was easier...i guess we should just continue and wait for it to happen. I am taking vitamins, using pre seed, lifting legs, doing ovu test and yet nothing. Hopefully we dont wait for too long ❤

Hi everyone, sorry for going AWOL! Partner and I got covid 🤦🏼‍♀️ So SMEP didn't really end up happening BUT we did try 2 times during my window so there's still a chance. I'm 1dpo today 🥰 How are the rest of you doing? X

Oh no sorry to hear about covid but glad you managed to get some dancing in.
I am currently CD18... still no peak, NO idea what is going on with me but I have been dancing every 2nd day x

@RMS0209 Yeah the cough has not been pretty 🥴😂 When do you normally ovulated? I got my peak on CD22 this time which is a bit late for me. I assume because of covid. I also ovulated super late for me after all my covid jabs! Have you got any other ovulation signs/are your lines on your tests getting any darker as the days go by? X

Oh goodness, hope you are on the road to recovery now?
It varies I've been - 14/18/16 so far this year (18 was after I had covid)
I haven't had any covid or jabs this cycle which is stressing me.
Yesterdays line was quite dark, premom gave it 0.54 but that's the darkest I've had. I just done one now on a hold for a few hours and is quite light again.
Trying not to worry but worrying... meant to get a progesterone test 7 days before AF arrives but I can't book it if I haven't ovulated because I won't know

Hi, come to join hope it’s okay. I’m on cycle #2 trying to conceive #1 and I’m on CD12 today going to test in the morning but pretty sure I’ll be ovulating today. I was attempting SMEP this month but so far we BD on day 8 and wasn’t able to day 10 but made up on Day 11. I have a 28 day cycle but this month is my second month of get flashing smiley faces on day 10 and 11 and then 12 is usually a peak. I’d it normal to ovulate really early. It’s starting to worry me a bit. I also think I should have BD from CD 6 🙈. I just have fingers crossed that something happens. Didn’t realise that ttc would be so difficult and technical. Tried last year casually for a few months and then decided to take a break but seeing my friend conceive and unfortunately have a MC and then conceive a month later and due next month is making me a little worried we may be unable to. Sorry for the long rant

I have copied you @CatLady93 that's me got a peak at CD22.. been a stressful week thinking I am broken x
