I stopped breastfeeding my 10 month old six weeks ago. My periods seemed to return in November, and came fairly consistently approx every three weeks (shorter than my cycles before pregnancy, that were usually 29-31 days) until January, when they stopped again. I thought this was maybe due to the fact I was continuing to breastfeed, but nevertheless thought it strange for them to return and then stop again.
I stopped breastfeeding permanently six weeks ago, and they have not returned since. I have used an CB OPK which indicated peak fertility about three weeks ago, and have also taken several pregnancy tests, including one today, which all returned negative. I’m getting quite concerned, as I thought my periods, once resumed, would continue. Any help would be great!
