Cramping but no period

Hi, I had a chemical pregnancy last month. For a positive test 4 days before my period was due and then came on 1 day late and negative tests are so I know it was a chemical. I've been having what I think is my period pains but it's been happening for 4/5 days now.. to a point where I'm sure it's going to arrive. I'm a day late according to Flo and I did a test yesterday but it was negative.
Can a chemical cause missed period? I had ewcm around the date it said I was ovulating and none after.. I'm 15 weeks postpartum and not trying but not stopping owt from happening. We were wanting 2 anyway, we didn't mind if it happened sooner than we wanted. Just annoying because I hate being on my period as I have super painful periods but this pain keeps coming and going which I had with my son but I had a positive by now, so I know I'm not pregnant but just want my period to come as I dread the pain every month. We are in the same boat kinda. AF was due yesterday think I am 15dpo. Wasn't going to test but in town this afternoon I grabbed a cheap superdrug one. It was so clearly negative but now I'm doubting that as wasn't morning urine. However I do have cramping and massive lack of motivation so expecting af but I just want to know either way really xx

Hi! Thanks for your reply. It's confusing is it? Why don't you try a clear blue early detection? The one where it's just one line that means pregnant, that's the one I got positive with my son and last month. No period still for me, cramping all day like the last few days but nothing.. it's kind annoying!

Yeah that's the same as me slight cramping since Sunday. Doesn't feel that intense but feels like af is coming. I food shopping tomorrow so might pick up clear blue early detection if af hasn't come by then. I was oroginally going to wait till Saturday to test so I might it do it then if I get that far without af making an appearance. What are you going to do? Take another? X

Still no period for me, I'm going to wait until I'm like 4/5 days late then yeah as I took one like 3 days ago and it was negative so I'm not expecting a positive tbh x

Yeah same still no period. Yeah same I'm just expecting a late period again. Being irregular is a head mess alone when trying to conceive. But tbh there's nothing pointing towards being pregnant so just another length wait. I think I might get ovulation strips next month x

any updates did your af come ladies? im currently just 1 day late and been cramping for over a week, my af is usually early rather than late but i know things can cause it to delay.. i have no symptoms except bloat and a bit of nipple sensitivity

Hi! Crazy to think this thread was made so long ago! So that cycle I did not get pregnant, it must’ve been some sort of weird cycle after my chemical pregnancy but I did become pregnant a month afterwards :) I’m now 38+1 with a little girl, I had the same symptoms I had this cycle and was just convinced I was going to be late again

@abcdefg2020 Congrats and thanks for your reply. My af still has not come yer and i am still very bloaty but i do get bloaty when im due...I am having weird sensations in my breast so not sure if that means anything and keep feeling like somethings coming out but when checked nothing. I have ordered some tests and waiting for those to arrive. If af dont come by tomorrow or sat i will test then.
