If symptoms are due to pg then test would be positive, right?

I'm CD 19, no clue when I ovulated as I don't track - mainly through laziness 😂 I have symptoms but they could easily be my period. I tested today and negative (what a surprise 🙄), so my thinking is that if these symptoms are due to pg then a test would be positive????

@PandoraVictoria hey, I thought my period was approaching because of symptoms but then realised I wasn’t pregnant! I did my first test about 10 days after my period usually comes (I have 33 day cycles usually). My understanding is that the high the level of HcG in your pee, the darker the line on the test will be. When we’re you expecting your period? Try again in a few days with your first wee of the day and see. Or test every day if you’ve got enough tests! I hope you have the result you are after Smile

Thank you Celyn ☺️
I'm nowhere near my period yet 😂 It's roughly every 28-30 days and I'm only CD 19. I'm just confused!

Even if you ovulated very early you’d likely be only 9 or 10 days post ovulation and even the best tests don’t always pick that up. You can’t rule pregnancy out until your period comes really!

If you normally have a 29 day cycle you may not even ovulate until cd16! Ignore symptoms, test if period doesn't appear at CD28

You may be pregnant but it’s the hormones which cause symptoms

If pregnancy hormones were high enough to cause symptoms they’d certainly be high enough to show on test

However that doesn’t mean the symptoms are something else unrelated and you may still get pregnant

At cd19, it’s very likely ovulation
