Could this be an ectopic pregnancy? Any experience anyone?

DH and I are casually TTC - essentially having unprotected sex but not tracking ovulation, etc. This is because we have a nearly one year old who I am still breastfeeding, so my periods are irregular - I have one every four to six weeks.

I should be due one any day know, as it’s been 35 days since my last period. However, all day on lower left hand side, I’ve had waves of pain that come and go which are so intense that I can’t speak through it. I’ve also felt nauseous and have a migraine.

At first I dismissed it as pre menstrual symptoms, even though it’s something I have never experienced before, but after reading the signs of ectopic pregnancies, I am getting worried. I did a test a few days ago which was negative, but can’t shake the feeling that this pain is indicative of something not being right.

Is anyone willing to share their experience of an ectopic pregnancy to either put my mind at ease or encourage me to go to A&E tomorrow?
