Hello, I thought I’d create this thread just to put all my thoughts and feeling about trying ttc. A no judge zone please but I would love to hear constructive opinions and anyone’s story who might be going through the same.

A bit about me, I’m 24, I’ve been off bc for just over a year and a half. My period haven’t quite gone back to normal but tbh I can’t remember if I’d ever had a normal cycle as I was on bc for 7 years. I’ve been tracking my ovulation for the past 6 months and it’s not looking great.

DP and I have now decided to give ttc a real go. I’ll have a blood test on the 26th of March to confirm if I have or haven’t ovulated.

Hiya! I'm 24 too and been ttc for about 8 months now (about to start cycle 9) :)

One thing I've learnt is that apparently you alternate between which ovary releases an egg each month- one side seems to take a little longer to ovulate than the other for me so my cycle length pretty consistently alternates between 28 days and 30 days.
(Turns out we were basically missing my ovulation by two days every other month... Felt a bit stupid when I learnt that 😑)
Just something to consider if you haven't already!

Good luck and I hope your blood test is okay! x
