Hi everyone. I’m new to OPKs. I’m on cycle day 18 and I think I usually ovulate cycle day 18-19.

I have been using OPKs on a three-four hour urine hold and I don’t seem to be having any rising hormones even though ovulation should be due. Do some people only get peaks for tiny amounts of time? I was expecting to possibly see some ‘high’ tests as I nearer ovulation? My last one was even lower!

I’m now wondering whether I’m not going to ovulate this month? There’s been quite a bit of work stress happening!

Thank you !

Well your temps at least confirm that you haven't missed the peak as they're not indicative of ovulation having occurred.

Your hold seems good but if you check your instructions they'll probably say not to test with FMU or after 8pm? A lot of yours seem to be in either of those camps. Tbh a 2 hour hold is all it takes and I'd aim to test with SMU followed by a mid afternoon wee if you think you're nearing ovulation.

Keep temping though as it will be key in determining whether you ovulate!

My OPK's were similar to yours didn't appear to see my high or peak result and my predicted ovulation date was CD15 turns out I ovulated later this cycle on CD23!

Good luck @GeraniumCedarwood keep testing!

@allthingssparkly @Juno231 Thank you both. I suppose we just have to keep on BDing and continuing to see what happens next.
