Two week wait - anyone else?

Back once again 😅 starting my two week wait tomorrow and wondering if there's anyone wanting to hop on this thread and keep each other company?

Short and sweet version for me is 17 cycles trying with two early MC's Oct and Nov of 2021. Hoping this cycle brings us our little rainbow 🌈

My son is up with a temperature so I've just lost my FMU for today at 3am 🙃

I’m 7dpo, and got sharp lower back pain which I never usually have pre AF so hoping it’s a good sign? I’m not sure when to do my first test as I don’t want to do it too early and then keep testing every day

BFN on a FRER after a 4 hour hold ☹️. Think I'm out 🙈

@Flippy87 that sounds promising! 7dpo is so early, you’d be unlikely to get a bfp now if you are pregnant. Most people implant around 8/9 dpo and then it takes a couple of days for your hcg to rise. I read that false negatives are really likely until 11dpo and even then they still happen! I’d say hold out as long as you can. I’ve totally fallen into the trap of testing too early and I’m coming to the conclusion it’s a bit of a waste of money lol. So hard not to test when you’re thinking about it all the time though.

@Bluemilan I’m sorry, getting a BFN is so gutting especially when you’ve seen an evap :( I reckon it’s worth trying again in a couple of days, it’s still early for you too! Fingers crossed for your BFP! Time moves so slowly during tww, it’s tough.

I have a feeling I’m out this month ladies! 10dpo and not feeling anything. I don’t think we dtd at the right time. Bit gutted and just want to confirm for sure now but still got a few days till AF!

@sunflowers90 the evap was actually abit pink in real life so it really got me! You're right, time really does move soooo incredibly slowly these last two weeks of the month.

@Brideandprejudice an evap is basically a sneaky fake second line 😂. Usually they appear after the time limit but sometimes they can appear before. They usually don't have much colour to them but they can be really convincing. They're more common with blue cheese tests than pink 😊

*blue dye tests. No idea why autocorrect changed that to cheese

@BlueMilan I caved! Vvvvvfl - don’t know what to think, could well be an evap it’s not got a pinky tinge at all. Been feeling a bit crampy as well, maybe AF on the way although it does feel a little diff to normal. The not knowing for sure is so hard! How are you doing? Have you retested yet?

Morning ladies, joining this thread if that's okay. I'm 6dpo in my second cycle since a MC in January. Not getting any symptoms so far apart from possibly the faintest of faint cramps, but I may be imagining it.

Congratulations to all those with their BFP already!

@sunflowers90 I can see the line clearly, doesn't look that faint or like an evap ...🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 . I agree, the not knowing is awful. I tested this morning with fmu on a cheapie and BFN. I'm 10dpo so starting to accept that I'm out this cycle! The days between bfn and af wind me up 😂

I've tested negative today at 9dpo. In other news I've tested positive on lat flow so feeling really disheartened now as imagine I won't implant properly cause of this. Raging.

@Geemmm don't worry - I tested positive for covid last week (and still have it) & I got my BFP today! Fingers crossed for you & sorry you've got bloody covid! x

@kittycat01 💕 yes let’s test again tomorrow morning and everything crossed those lines darken! I keep switching between hopeful and worried/not wanting to be disappointed about the whole thing. what an emotional rollercoaster this whole ttc thing is, eh! 🎢
I’m a bit new to all of this, my last was an ectopic so hcg was really low and didn’t test positive for ages!

@Bluemilan aw thank you - here’s hoping 🤞 you never know, I’ve read loads of stories about people not getting a line until much later than 10dpo! do you remember when you tested posi with other pregnancies?

@sunflowers90 usually I get them quite early and definitely before now so fairly sure I'm out. I'm getting some pre-af cramping etc too. How are you feeling?

Sorry @Geemmm I didn't see your post! Hope you're feeling better soon! Regarding covid and ttc I'm a midwife and we've had plenty of women coming in and saying they had covid around conception time so it shouldn't negatively affect anything ❤️
