How many days off flashing smiley faces did you get.

Hi everyone, I’ve been using the clear blue ovulation tests . I had a circle on Tuesday and Wednesday, then Thursday friday Saturday and this morning I have had a flashing smiley face. My apps on my phone say ovulation should be today.
How many days did you have flashing smileys for. I’m hoping I get a static tomorrow x

I stopped using clear blue ovulation tests because they were all over the place. Some months I would get about 7-9 flashing smiley faces and then no solid smiley face.
Other months I would have the solid smile face straight away.
I know it can be all over the place so once I spoke to the gp she told me to base it on how I was feeling and go from there.

Thankyou for your reply. I’m going to sound really thick but how did you know you were in the fertile days or ovulating . Did you feel any different x

The ovulation kits were stressing me out.
I felt like I was being consumed and my dp said it kinda took all the fun and romance out of it all which I agreed with.
I used them for over a year and it just became more depressing than exciting for me.
Once I spoke to my gp she said we can all ovulate at different times so told me to look out for feeling a bit hotter than normal so my temperature rising. She said naturally I might feel more in the mood than normal and I might feel a little crampy.
I decided to just focus on myself, eat better, exercise more and just tried to relax.
The best advice I got was trying every few days so my partner and I just took it slow, had fun and didn’t put any pressure on ourselves.
I said I would check how I was feeling and try notice the difference over the next few months but straight away I noticed some nights I woke up feeling hot.
After taking the stress out of it all I ended up falling pregnant quite quickly which was a massive shock as we had been trying for well over a year.

@Avle20 I get around 8/9 days of flashing usually and then I get static.

The flashing face and the static face both detect a different hormone. The flashing face detects oestrogen and the static detects your LH surge. So when you get the static face that’s when your LH surge is happening before ovulation. The flashing I think varies for everyone because it’s picking up different levels of oestrogen.

I also track BBT so I know when I’ve ovulated because of my temps. I got my peak opk 3 days before I ovulated this cycle (peak CD14 and ovulated CD17)

Thankyou for your replies every app says I should ovulate today. Haven’t really bad any ovulation symptoms other than a few cramps last night

I forgot to add I’m ttc #2 we used the clear blue ovulation and I caught pregnant first time with my little girl. I just can’t remember how many days of flashing smiley faces I had last time .
