I took 9+ months to conceive my first child.
I used ovulation sticks, and I think that sped up the process a bit, we we're at the point of looking into other options when I conceived.
I'm starting to try to conceive again this cycle, but am fuzzy about how I did it before. Vaguely think I might have tested from day ten onwards? Does that sound right?
I'm on day two of my period. Usually around a four day period, but has been a bit irregular recently.
Time is not on my side, age wise for both me and my partner, so any tips to manage conception would be much appreciated. I assume it won't be easy as it took a lot last time and we were obviously both younger.

Hoping someone can help me.

@LittleMissMuffet720 I think day 10 sounds about right for the first time/unsure when you ovulate. After a couple of cycles, you'll understand your body better so you'll have a rough idea when you ovulate and adjust when to test accordingly. Other than that, I'd say start on your supplements if you haven't already.

Thanks, yes supplements are a good shout.
I should have been tracking my period before as it's been all over the place since covid jab, but I never got round to it. Well my fertility window seems to be around then according to ovulation calculator so will try and do it then.

I'm dreading having to do timed sex though as it caused friction in my relationship last time.

I test from the Day 6, as my ovulation varies. And generally testing through the whole month for few months gives me a better understanding of my cycle and ovulation days.
Started Ubiquinol and just increased a dose from 200mg a day to 400mg a day. Started Acupuncture, as well.

I tried Ovusense. It worked. My friend did too - she'd been trying for years, and I don't think she'd be a parent now if she hadn't used it.
