Nervous about coming off hormonal contraception

I'm about to try to conceive for my first! I've been on some form of contraception or other for the past 8 years since I've started being sexually active.

I'm a bit nervous about coming off hormonal contraceptives altogether. Has anyone been in the same boat?

I was quite nervous as I had contraceptive implants for 9 years ! I actually found it so good to have it removed I really felt generally more upbeat and good. I have since had my wee one who is 3 months now and I have another implant in as I find it the most reliable
