Hi, I’m new to positing but spend a lot of time on these forums reading so bare with me. We have been ttc for 2 years and had an early miscarriage 1 year ago. This cycle I’ve started bleeding at 8dpo. It started light pink spotting for 1 day then turned to bright red (similar flow and heaviness to normal period). I then had a small amount of brown on wiping and then it stopped. So lasted for 2 days in total. This was all preceded by a large amount of what seemed to be EWCM. It didn't totally feel like a normal period but the red blood was almost a period quantity.
I would normally ignore all this and put it down to my period stating early (although my cycles are generally pretty regular). However, this month I had an internal ultrasound as part of fertility work up on CD14. I thought I may have already ovulated but they told me at that appointment I hadn’t yet and it looked like I was about to imminently ovulate so I know the ovulation dates must be correct.
I did one pregnancy test yesterday on the second day of bleeding which was negative and I know that may be a little early.
If anyone has any similar stories/positive stories about this sort of implantation bleeding or can shed any light on this then please get back to me
