So I’ve been testing since 9 dpo and been getting barely there lines until this morning and they’re so much clearer.
Only problem is I still think they’re too faint for 12 dpo?
I had 4 chemicals last year but they literally just stayed faint - didn’t get any darker at any point.
I’m getting the same cramps I did with the chemicals though so I’m assuming this will go the same way.
Do these lines look ok for 12 dpo? I’m 2-3 days away from period.

I think 2-3 days away from your period these are great lines!!
Congratulations! Xx

cakeislife123 · 12/02/2022 14:23

I'm in the same position as you btw, period due tomorrow but I feel like my lines are too faint to be a proper positive, so sending hugs I know how stressful it is xx

Ellie1311 · 12/02/2022 14:56

Thanks lovely. I’m just thinking so negatively. Do you have any pics of yours? Xx

I'm the same, thinking really negatively too I'm just waiting for something bad to happen.
Pic below is from today, but I think it's too faint considering af due tomorrow xx

I’ve just done a FRER and this is the result? It’s darker than the cheapies so I just don’t know what to think.
Your line is 100% there and not even a squinter. I do see what you mean about the faintness but then everyone is different/ different hcg levels but that’s what makes it so confusing? Have you done any other brands?

Yours is so dark it's great! Think you can definitely relax a bit for now!!
I've done a couple of brands CB digital said positive 1-2 weeks and asda cheap ones were real squinters!
Just gonna try and hold off until Monday and take another see how it looks xx

Ellie1311 · 12/02/2022 16:42

The fact your digital is positive is massive as you need more hcg for that ! I’d definitely go with that!!
I darent do a digital until I’m past period / lines get darker daily. They always said not pregnant at this stage with my chemicals (which is obvious as I wouldn’t have had enough hcg) but I’m just too frightened!

cakeislife123 · 12/02/2022 16:53

With a line as dark as yours I'm sure you'll get a positive digital, maybe try one with FMU though xx

madeleine85 · 13/02/2022 04:12

Mine didn’t go up to dark lines until 15 dpo, tested positive at 10. After 15 it rapidly increased every 2 days, but before that I poas so many times, cried, had complete meltdowns when they didn’t show line improvement or just failed. It’s so stressful. Sending the best luck for good results once hcg really kicks it up a notch

I'm just waiting for the bleeding to start now, line progression is pretty much non existent for me. Absolutely gutted.

Have you tried a digital test yet op? xxx

Thanks, they look like great lines though. I did a couple of different branded cheapies this morning and they’re still faint but my FRER from yesterday was quite strong so I don’t know what to think.

How many DPO does that start from? Because they have actually got darker from top to bottom?
I’ve got digital tests coming today so will be doing one once they arrive. I’m so scared though. My lines on the cheapies are still pretty faint and cramps I’m having are awful. But the FRER has thrown me off because that’s quite a decent line. I just don’t know what the hell to think.

cakeislife123 · 13/02/2022 10:30

Top one is 10dpo and bottom is 14th I, af due today xx

cakeislife123 · 13/02/2022 10:30

I don't trust the cheap ones at all I'm not even getting a faint line on those and didn't in my first pregnancy until about a week or so after af was due, so I'd rule them out xxx

I saved my pee from this morning and got this :) feel like I can relax slightly but I’ve still got the cramps. I don’t think I’ll be able to relax fully at all these next few weeks. How are you feeling tonight? Xx

That's such good news, hopefully you can relax a bit now you've done the digital! I did one Friday and got 1-2 weeks too, so saving my other one in the pack to do this Friday.

Some mild cramping, had really sensitive sense of smell a few days ago but not sure if I've just got used to that or if it's gone. Maybe slightly sore boobs but nothing major, needing the loo a bit more than normal! But I don't know if I'm just imagining it all!! Feel like I'm about to come on but so far no af!
Keep me updated with how you're doing xx

Ellie1311 · 13/02/2022 21:54

I think they are all really good signs. My boobs are so sore and lumpy haha. I’m not feeling sick yet though I don’t know if that’s a bad sign. I just wish these cramps would sod off!
What number pregnancy is this for you?

OP posts:
cakeislife123 · 14/02/2022 05:36

It's my second pregnancy, I've got a DD already and my when I was pregnant with her I had cramps for the first 2-3 weeks so I wouldn't worry about yours! I remember constantly feeling like my period was about to start until I was about 6-7 weeks gone! Xx

Ellie1311 · 14/02/2022 07:05

Aww did You fall fairly easily? This is now my 8th pregnancy (2 boys, ectopic inbetween babies and 4 chemicals last year)I’ve barely slept as the cramps were so bad last night - I swear they felt like mini contractions at one point. I’ve got zero hope at this point. I’m on edge just waiting for the bleeding to start :(
Will you test again today?

OP posts:
cakeislife123 · 14/02/2022 07:43

I've tested again today and it's still v faint and even a bit more faint than yesterday.
Aww I'm sorry, I really hope it's just normal cramping for you and not a chemical!
I'm almost 100% sure mine is a chemical I'm gutted really, as it took over 2 years to get pregnant with my dd and fertility treatment so I was so excited when we conceived naturally.

Will you test again today? Xx

Ellie1311 · 14/02/2022 12:57

Oh no, which brand did you test with?
Yeh I tested this morning with a cheapie and it was quite a bit darker than yesterday but no where near as dark as the other line on the test. The cramps actually feel more like AF cramps today rather than agonising . I’m going to wait another couple of days to do another FRER to see if the line has got darker. And then digital on Sunday to see if it’s gone up to 2-3. (if I get that far)

If everything ok in couple of days I’ve got to book in with the EPU to have a 6 week scan to check it’s not ectopic. So even then I’m not out of the woods. It’s So stressful.

Will you keep testing?

OP posts:
cakeislife123 · 14/02/2022 14:15

Oh bless you it's so stressful isn't it, it's a good sign your tests are getting darker though, I've got my fingers crossed for you!

I'm holding off until Friday and I'll do a digital see if it's gone up to 2-3 as well but I am pretty sure it won't have xx

Ellie1311 · 16/02/2022 16:25

@cakeislife123 how are you doing? Did you end up testing again? Xx

OP posts:
cakeislife123 · 16/02/2022 17:11

Yeah I have, no real change so I'm sure it's a chemical now! How about you? Xx
