Can you get pregnant 2 month after IUD removal?

Hey ladies ,
I had my non hormonal IUD come out on the 7th December, I had a 5 day period , 28 day break then another 5 day period. I was due my next one 5th of feb but I am now a week late. We did BD on the 25th Jan , which on my tracking app says I ovulated 4 days before but I’m not 110% sure.

I have felt so bloated this week and also mild mood swings. The reason I’m not sure if I am or not is because I keep getting negative pregnancy test. I’m going to wait and rest again on the 15th as it will be 21 days since unprotected sex. I just wondered if any other women have been in my situation. Thank you in advance :-)

You definitely could. Or it could be that your periods are still regulating. No way to know except to keep testing or have your period show up

Yes I’ll have to keep testing and waiting. I wanted to have regular cycles for a year before we actually ttc. Now this has happened I can’t stop thinking about it. Waiting is the worst lol xx thanks ladies xx

My friend had one removed and was told by her dr that in the first few months after removal there are higher than normal chances of conception, so to use backup contraception if not 100% ready TTC. It’s definitely possible.

Wow well my partner told me he had mastered pulling out… & there’s nothing other then condoms really to use but oh well, if it happens it happens. We do both love each other and are in a stable relationship. Wow @Spud1130 how long till you found it? Did you know from that time?
@madeleine85 the docs never told me this & most things online say it would take a few months even if I was to try. This is why you need real story’s from real people 🙏🏻

Yep. One period and then pregnant right away.

For me, it was the exact same experience I had conceiving after the pill.

Yes we were actively trying so tested early. Didn't even have a period beforehand.

@Spud1130 I tested about 2 weeks and was negative even the super sensitive tests. Will test again Monday and update you all

Have you had a covid jab recently? That can cause period delays.

I was so happy to wait till next year but now this has happened, really has got to me mentally. Maybe why AF hasn’t come around. Been stressing myself :/
