Clear blue Digital straight to static smiley face, No flashing in between?

I've started using Clearblue digital this cycle and I've gone from a blank circle straight to static smiley face, Has anybody had this? Is it normal?, I've read the clearblue website but want to hear others experiences and if they were successful using these ovulation tests, TIA

I had that this cycle. Empty circle one evening when I did my first test then static smiley the following morning. We DTD the day of static and the day after and I got my BFP last week! I thought I ovulated later - clearly I was wrong,

I used CB a lot and it truth is the results really depend on when in the cycle you start testing. You should go by the table in the leaflet which specifies when to start testing based on how long your cycle is. Start too early, and you will get way too many empty circles/flashing smilies. Start too late and it goes straight to static.
TBH, I would recommend you save your money and get the cheap easy@home strips from Amazon - you can upload the photos of the results in a few apps (free) that interpret them for you and tell you high, low or peak fertility. It's also less of a shock as you can see clear progression!

@Prayrainbow22 I use the cb monitor, and it was kinda the same in the first cycle. It has to "get to know you" first. Next cycle I went from low, to high, to peak as it is supposed to.
