Hi
I'm in the tww. 8dpo approx. I've just had two sharp stab pains in my right side lower tummy. Any ideas what this could be. First one was bearable but the second made me whince in agony. Could this be implantation??

Could be, that’s always what I get for implantation! If it is then you should be able to test on a FRER in a couple of days.

However a friend had the same kind of pains and it turned out to be an ovarian cyst so try not to obsess about it.

Hello, I am crossing everything for you it is implantation, but sadly it could be en ectopic pregnancy - if there is more pain do get it checked, just to rule it out. Sorry not trying to be negative or scare you, just best to be on the safe side.

I had a few sharp pains which I think was implantation.

Thank you ladies, appreciate it. The tww is stressful isn't it. You're absolutely right.
I'm going to keep an eye on the pain and if it happens over next few days, I'll go to the gp and get a check. I don't remember having this pain with my DD last year. I don't remember any of my symptons ha - was definitely not really paying attention like I am this time round!!

Still getting them today. Had one this morning when walking with DH to station to get his train. Then one milder one on the way back. Popped to boots and got some of their test strips. Negative. I'm 9/10dpo today and if I go by my usual cycle I'm due AF in 5 days. They feel like what I'd assume implantation feels like.

Turns out I got my BFP! First month trying for second child, so this was a good sign for me xx

@OurLittlePumpkin1991 Congratulations 🤍 I have been having a similar pain although it's just been more discomforting than painful mine started after my period had finished which I thought was odd!

Thanks ladies. Think I ovulated later than I originally thought, glad we dtd those extra few days to catch all possibilities now. What I felt was clearly implantation looking back now. Couldn't have been anything else, was such a precise pain each time it happened. Doesn't feel real!! Sending positive vibes to you all for bfps soon!
