As the title says. Hands up if you were 100% certain and were proven right.

I'm 4DPO and just have a strong feeling. Just checking if I'm the only one.

4th time yes

OCM19 · 04/02/2022 21:35

With my DS yes! I woke up around 5am one morning and just knew, something felt different. I took a test and got my BFP! I’m 6DPO and also have a feeling, but it doesn’t feel the same as last time so I don’t want to get my hopes up!

When will you test OP?

CountingMyChickens21 · 04/02/2022 21:55

I had a strange dream about someone I know being pregnant. I never remember my dreams usually so I took a test and got my bfp at 8dpo.

DramaAlpaca · 04/02/2022 21:56

Yes. All three times.

SingingSands · 04/02/2022 22:00

Yes, with my first. One day I was complaining to DH that my favourite skirt didn't fit, the next I was walking to work and suddenly it hit me that I WAS PREGNANT. That's why my skirt was tight 😄

Tulipvase · 04/02/2022 22:12

I’ve never told anyone but with my second, I dreamt I got a positive test the night that dates would suggest I conceived. Nothing with the other two.

FTEngineerM · 04/02/2022 22:17

This is going to sound a bit wild but.. my partner knew both times that something was ‘off’ and suspected pregnancy before I did.

I’m an avid wine drinker (pre pregnancy) I’d have 2 bottles a week and that would be without fail. Then, I just stopped wanting it, he even bought me a bottle and I just said no thanks, it was peculiar. Voila ten days later I get a BFP. Then second time around sex Boxing Day, NYE I say I don’t fancy wine, shudder at the thought and low and behold 6th Jan I get a BFP again.

He knew.
It’s wild that 1) my body just tells me what to do and 2) he noticed the changes before I did.

Diamondbabe · 04/02/2022 22:43

No both times no symptoms

SW1amp · 04/02/2022 22:45

When I’m pregnant, I need to get up in the night for a wee from about 9 or 10dpo
Never need to any other time, so it’s always how I’ve known if I’m going to get a BFP

Have never had any of the other classic sore boob/metallic taste/gut feel symptoms though

Annabelle0852 · 04/02/2022 23:13

I've not had my BFP yet but I couple times I've been convinced and they've beem BFN.

SeriousNotions · 04/02/2022 23:17

Yes!! I ran downstairs one morning and my boobs hurt. It was a week before my period was due

mumsthew0rdd · 04/02/2022 23:22

Some fantastic stories here! Love yours particularly @FTEngineerM !!

So glad I'm not the only one. I know the mind can play tricks on you and I'll be totally fine it's a BFN but I just feel it's true.

Or more specifically my uterus telling me so. Since ovulation it's been doing a dance and I'm getting all sorts of twinges like there's a party going on inside. I'm very aware of it constantly. Totally out of the ordinary.

@OCM19 got the silly urge to POSS twice today knowing full well it's way too early. So will wait until I'm at least 6 or 7 DPO before I try again.

mumsthew0rdd · 04/02/2022 23:24

@OCM19 how about you? When do you plan on testing?

OP posts:
Workinghardeveryday · 04/02/2022 23:30

Nope!! Actually both times my pregnancy symptoms were no symptoms if that makes sense.

Every month I would take great notice of my body, look for all the typical symptoms. Told myself I was pregnant because of xyz etc - but wasn’t.

Both times (second with twins so double the hormones), nothing! Different story by 6 weeks.....

HMFx · 05/02/2022 08:03

Yes I had a feeling but I just thought I was imagining them all.

I had little twinges and pulling in my tummy from 3/4/5dpo and it was gurgling so much. I was also very burpy. Same as a lot of women I was having very vivid dreams. But the biggest thing for me was my temperature staying high and my heart rate increasing. I didn't want to believe it but 10dpo I got my BFP and now 6 weeks. 😁 xx

Good luck xx

stuntbubbles · 05/02/2022 08:07

Yes, because I felt an implantation pain I’ve never felt at any other time except when previously pregnant.

But the corollary to this is that I’ve FELT pregnant and been CERTAIN I was pregnant and absolutely was not pregnant. So a lot of the “I just knew! And I was!” is actually “I ‘knew’ every month! And one time, I was right!”

No one is pregnant at 4dpo btw anyway, sorry.

Peonies94 · 05/02/2022 08:50

@mumsthew0rdd can’t relate, I’ve imagined being pregnant every cycle I’ve ttc for a year, and feel worse each month! but also 4DPO today, so a day behind you! Just wanted to wish you all the luck! Hope your right!

RedRobin100 · 05/02/2022 08:52

Yeah first time because I was so late and had sore boobs
Second and third times because I was late.
Was pretty certain and test confirmatory.

LuckyWithMyLot · 05/02/2022 09:01

Nope

Honeyishrunk · 05/02/2022 09:12

Yes I ate my dinner and then weirdly threw it up. I thought possibly I was ill then did a test and got a BFP. It was a shock, a lovely surprise lol.

Rrrob · 05/02/2022 09:15

Yes all three times. Although having said that, I thought I was last year and was wrong. Weird things gave it away for me. Suddenly a minute slower at parkrun and felt exhausted just walking around my local (hilly) area, falling asleep on the sofa in the evening and a major aversion to tea.

JMPB · 05/02/2022 09:30

Yep I knew!
I actually thought at first I was imagining it because I literally had all the textbook symptoms and thought I was symptom spotting.
Low and behold 9dpo I got my BFP.
I had twinges on one side of my lower abdomen right from ovulation to about 6dpo; and actually had an ultrasound just after I got my BFP and was told that’s the side I’d ovulated so I guess I really could feel it all

IKeptYouLikeAnOath · 05/02/2022 09:34

Yes, woke up alone in my bedroom and somehow felt not alone. The only way I can describe it is that there was another soul in the room.

Had literally been trying for three weeks.

Babymamma192 · 05/02/2022 09:41

With my second dd I knew I was pregnant when I went shopping for a car seat for dd1 and the woman was explaining all the safety features. I felt like i was gonna start crying and I remember thinking what is wrong with me why am I so emotional and then I got out of the shop and it dawned on me 😂

I've been having the same emotional feeling for about two weeks almost crying at things on telly that aren't even sad......dont really want another baby so too scared to test!
