HiSmile I was on reading through a few threads and wondered if anyone would be able to help me, I was over a week late on my period and had took 4 cheap home bargains tests all bfn, finally my period came but only lasted 2 days very unusual for me as they normally last 4-5 days, could I be pregnant? Any advice is welcome, thank you ladies in advance.xx❤

Weirder things have happened. Only a test will tell you ;)

sweetbellyhigh · 05/02/2022 22:36

Yea you could be. May not be a period but something allows implantation bleeding.

Sablemablelable · 05/02/2022 22:39

I had implantation bleeding with both pregnancies. It was like AF but lasted a day. IIRC, it was a couple of days between bleeding and getting my BFP.

Hey OP,

I am in the exact same situation as you, I started spotting on Monday but it was only when I wiped and then I had a period that I was only on for two days and was lighter than normal. It was not very heavy and it was mostly brown and older with no clots or anything. So now I have no idea what to think. I also had no cramps and I suffer with really bad cramps when I have AF. Going to test tomorrow morning and see

@Gill8267 you have nothing to lose though, you already think you're out since AF arrived, therefore the only thing that could happen is that you might be in for a pleasant surprise.

@Gill8267
Yeah I think that's what I need right now as something is not right although I did have my covid booster jab at the start of last month but I have had an AF since then and so I am confused.

Aww thank you for the baby dust. To be honest we have not been TTC for very long. I came of off the mini pill at the start of November and we decided to just see what happened for a while and go from there. I have had to previous MC's between the 6-8 week park and so it makes it important for me to know so that I can monitor it. I have issues with my periods anyway but normally they are king and heavy and so this was unusual. For the last 5 years they thought I had endometriosis but the found evidence in November that it might be adenomyosis. So I have been referred to gynaecology and am waiting to hear from them.
I do not have any children at the moment but my partner does have a 9 year old that I see when we visit his family. She is lovely

@Gill8267 yeah it's so frustrating not knowing what's going on. The nurse practitioner that I spoke to on Thursday was helpful and gave me loads of advice and so I hoping I can use that get answers. Got to give gynaecology a ring on Monday to find out what's going on.
Yeah it's not been fun but finally having evidence is helpful because it means they might be able to do something about it finally.
Just hoping we get some luck soon but we will keep TTC and see what happens

Hi all

New to this so not clued up with the lingo.

Me and my Fiancé have been TTC for 2 months, I had my implant out in June.

Had normal periods since removal of my implant. I was due on tomorrow and woke up yesterday morning with light cramping and pink blood when I wiped.

Put a towel on just incase it was the start of my period, changed it regularly with very little on it (the blood on it was brown).

Have changed towels multiple times today and all been clear and no blood when wiping.

Could this be a very quick period or implantation bleeding?

I'm usually regular as clockwork and my periods last between 5 & 7 days with heavy cramping.

I will be testing soon just getting disheartened everytime we see a negative test.

Thanks in advance
☺️
