Im 11dpo and generally not an early tester but I got some free tests with a bulk pack of ov tests.
Anyway this is my test today and I can see a line!
I have cramps and it's slightly different to my normal AF symptoms so I'm quite optimistic. I haven't had my normal pms mood swings or fatigue.

I'll test again tomorrow sunday

Looks like a bfp to me! Congratulations!

@fairgame84 I can see it! When is AF due? It's been 14 months for us too, so impatiently waiting as it feels like it should happen anytime soon. Anything you did differently this month?

fairgame84 · 04/02/2022 10:31

AF is due Monday so just hoping it's not a chemical. I've never had a chemical before
but I never test early so i guess i wouldn't know.

This month we made some changes.
I cut down on caffeine after ovulation so maximum 2 instant coffees per 24 hrs (3 if on night shift).
I started taking opti bac.
We used the ferti lily.
We dtd less often.
DH has low sperm count so most like the ferti lily help the most along with dtd less.

Amazing 😊! Keep us updated, will be nice to see those lines get darker.
Also this gives me hope as I'm on cycle 15!

Tinkerbell098 · 04/02/2022 13:17

@fairgame84 keep us updated, and looking forward to seeing the line progression. Sorry, what does opti bac do? I've used fertility for a couple of months now. How long did you leave it in for? I usually take it out in 20 mins as I find it uncomfortable, but others have suggested keeping it for an hour or more.

fairgame84 · 04/02/2022 13:37

@Tinkerbell098
I kept it in for 2 hours max.
Optibac is a probiotic so just good bacteria for your reproductive tract. I had BV in the past and read about EMA/ALICE testing and how probiotics can help with fertility so I decided to give it a try.

@fairgame84 ah great. I'll try leaving it in for longer. Have you had an HSG/hycosy done? I'm getting one beginning of next cycle.

FlyOnTheWall89 · 04/02/2022 15:26

@fairgame84 this is the kind of news us long time triers need. Hoping that line darkens over the coming days. Has your partner had a recent SA and then taken supplements? Mine has and also has low sperm count so it's good to hear your story x

fairgame84 · 04/02/2022 16:03

@Tinkerbell098 I had a hsg in December which was normal.

@FlyOnTheWall89 he had one around August which showed a count of 11.3million. Then he took proxeed and did another sample 6 weeks later which showed his count as 9.5million. He ditched the proxeed after that. He hasn't taken any other supplements.

Im just so convinced AF will come and we'll have to start all over again. I think I'll feel better in a week. But i guess even if it ends up being a chemical, at least we know we can actually get sperm to meet egg. It's the best we've managed so far!

FlyOnTheWall89 · 04/02/2022 16:11

@fairgame84 oh I will keep everything crossed for you. It must be a huge relief but also quite worrying and unsettling. You are pregnant - enjoy it and I really hope it all goes smoothly. So exciting. My DH had 8. something and has started Proxeed so we will see! x

MonkeyPuddle · 04/02/2022 16:13

Oh gosh I can absolutely see the line! Finger and toes crossed for you

Pineappletarts · 04/02/2022 18:33

Fingers crossed for you! This is also very exciting for all us who have been in saddle the same time. Sending you positive vibes 👍❤️

Charl881 · 04/02/2022 20:49

Congratulations! Keeping everything crossed for you.

fairgame84 · 05/02/2022 06:26

12dpo today. I wasn't 100% sure that the line was darker so I did a frer to put my mind at ease.
I feel like I'll be peeing on sticks for weeks. I said I wouldn't but I know I will.

OP posts:
naevo · 05/02/2022 09:02

That looks good! 😊 so nice to see it on a frer. You've got to do what you got to do to keep your mind at ease. This long ttc journey takes away a lot of the normal excitement and expectations doesn't it. So happy for you though!

Charl881 · 05/02/2022 20:55

Congratulations! My tip is get the clear blue digitals and step away from the tests once you’ve got the 3+ weeks.

fairgame84 · 06/02/2022 09:14

Thankyou!
I've not got the digital because they aren't as sensitive and I'm still only 13dpo. I don't have the urge to test since I got the frer result yesterday.
To be honest I'm constantly drinking then peeing so i dont think I'll be able to hold for long enough to get a decent line on the cheapies.
I might do another frer in a few days just to see that the line is darker.
I've got 2 early cb as well that I've not opened, along with 30!! cheapies.
