When did you ovulate after an induced withdrawal bleed?

I was prescribed norethisterone to induce a period or withdrawal bleed. It’s a progesterone hormone like provera.

I was on a short dose and had take 2 x 5mg tablets a day for 3 days and then stop. I started bleeding 3 days later.

Interested to know when you ovulated after inducing a withdrawal bleed? Which CD or how many days after your bleeding started did you get a positive opk or ovulate?

Any success stories of ovulating “normally” after inducing a period without taking Clomid or anything?

@Ttcbaby2022 same question as the above. Unfortunately it's not a given that you'll ovulate following a course of norethisterone (I certainly never have - I've only taken it to trigger a withdrawal bleed so I can take ovulation induction meds). That's not to say it can't happen though of course!

Were you prescribed it because you haven't been ovulating regularly on your own?

I can’t help with the above I’m afraid. I have taken norethisterone before but it was to delay my AF for a holiday rather than to induce one.

But I am also interested to see some success stories as my bestfriend has started provera recently for a similar reason to you. She hasn’t had an AF in a few months but her course is a 10 day course and she hasn’t been offered Clomid yet.

Will you be taking Clomid or anything following the withdrawal bleed?
