Post IVF line eyes

Had IVF for DC after years of trying. Hardly ever POAS. Started TTC naturally before going back for IVF later this year.

This is a 3+ year old internet cheapy which I looked at after 10 mins (got in shower). I’m CD35. DTD on CD 17 and 19 when saw EWCM but Clear Blue didn’t go Peak until Cd21 (didn’t DTD then).

Anyway assume it’s an evap line on an expired test but any thoughts welcome. I do have an expired FRER I could try but guess I’ll need to hold the wee for a few hours.

Yes the top one is from lunchtime today and the bottom this evening. The more recent one is lighter, more noticeably so in real life. Both are a year past expiry so I’ve bought two CB ones but unsure of their sensitivity so I’m going to do with FMU providing I don’t forget and have a wee.

@TheDaydreamBelievers Ha, thank you I really hope so. The two out of date FRERs were from the same box though (I had a sealed box left over from DC 2.5 years ago) so I guess if age makes them inaccurate then it would affect them both. But fingers crossed my first wee of the day is a cause for celebration!

Rooting for you OP. My DC was also a ‘spontaneous’ pregnancy after years of trying and unsuccessful IVF.

So this morning’s in date Clear Blue is clearly blue! Initially the second line wasn’t nearly as dark as it is in this photo (which I’ve taken an hour later). I would have expected a darker line within the 2-10 mins given it was FMU and I think I’m 1-3 days late. But then I’ve never used a Clear Blue before who so who knows.

So looks like after 4 years, countless investigations, a boat load of fertility treatment and £££ of IVF for DC1, my body has decided to go for quite the opposite approach this time.

Now to hope it sticks…

I wouldn’t worry too much about intensity of line. That’s what my looked like at 2 days late. Everyone is different. Fingers crossed for you it sticks.

ah congratulations op! clearblue didnt darken dramatically for me until I was nearer 5 weeks whereas frer were blazing at 14dpo

No picture of the FRER but the cheapie looks very positive. I’ve had a natural surprise after IVF and I’m here for the absolute mash of emotions x
