Fertility concerns with spotting at 10/11dpo

Hi. So after a possible faint line/probable indent on a FRER at 10dpo yesterday I started spotting last night and it's still going today. I've got some light cramps now too so I'm almost definitely out this month.

I'm getting a bit worried however as starting to spot a full five days before my AF is due can't be good right? I'm concerned my body isn't producing enough progesterone and that that's why my lining is breaking down so early.

Has this happened to anyone else and did you have it investigated? I'm considering going to my GP next month.

For further info we're TTC number two with male factor fertility problems. It took fifteen months to naturally conceive our son and I had all sorts of tests done (including a HyCoSy) when we were preparing to go down the IVF route which didn't highlight any issues with me. Interestingly, after the HyCoSy I stopped spotting before AF and it was only three months later that I got pregnant. Maybe I need another one? I have no idea.

I'm having the same problem of significant spotting for several days before AF.

I have had three, 3 week cycles autumn 2021. Then went back to normal.
This month, I started spotting at around 9 DPO. AF arrived 13 DPO for just 36 hours, then went away for 36 hours, now is back.
I've had my 2-5 bloods done today, and have a HSG referral for next month. But haven't had any advice yet on the period side of things. I will ask my consultant at my next appointment. I did tell him about the three week cycles, but he didn't seem concerned and as it was my first appointment I didn't push it.

I'm 38 (almost 39) so my referrals have been very quick as this would be #1.

Thanks for the reply! I’m 35 so did wonder if maybe this is a new age related thing :/

AF seems to have started now :( It’s so weird! I get ovulation cramps so I always know exactly when I ovulate and my AF starts 14 days from then. This has never happened to me before.

Good luck with all of your tests! :) I hope you get your bfp soon.
