Could I be pregnant or do I need to face the BFN facts?

Hi,

Appreciate any advice (or stern talking tos) please.. as I think I’m going slightly crazy!
I’ve been using CB ovulation tests and this month had a static smiley on CD18 (later than usual, usually CD15/16). We DTD CD16,18 &19, so I felt like we’d given it a good shot (timings didn’t work well the previous month so I was really pleased!) I usually have AF 13 days from static smile, so I was expecting CD30/31, a slightly long cycle for me. I’m now on CD33 and no sign of AF, multiple BFN.
Flo app says I’m 4 days late, but since I ovulated a bit later than usual I guess I’m actually not that late. From my (very limited) understanding, I think a static smile only indicates ovulation is imminent, so perhaps I could have ovulated even later than CD18 - maybe CD19 or CD20? Either way, I think that logically, if I was pregnant it would show up by now on a test. Illogically, I’m desperate for this to be the month and wonder if there is any hope at all, or if I should just face the facts? Helpppppppp 😩

I can't help but I can empathise.....girl, same. You may well have ovulated later than CD18 if you only peaked then? I usually figure that I ovulate following day after a peak OPK so CD19 in your case. I also had a delayed ovulation this month and blaming the booster. This post BFN pre AF bit is hard...

Might depend on the brand of tests you used? Digitals vs frer etc?

Hi @HisHX don't really have any advice but I'm in the same boat, I expected peak ovulation cd 13 but it was actually cd 22, af is now 2 days late and got bfn yesterday. Trying not to get my hopes up and resist the urge to test all the time. Hope you get your bfp soon, the not knowing can be the worst sometimes

Ahh it’s so frustrating isn’t it! I’m just post jab too and wondered if there was any correlation 🤷🏼‍♀️ Fingers crossed for you..

Get a blood finger prick hpt from Amazon!

HisHX · 23/01/2022 21:58

@Alfixn I used a cheap one I had in the drawer this morning and if I held it up to the window and squinted, I could see the faintest of faint pink lines. That really got my hopes up so went and got a CB ultra early and a Tesco digital one, both we’re 100% BFN.
@Frida9 I hope yours turns into a BFP!
I’ve got 2 tests left so I think I’m going to try and hold out until Wed and test then if still no AF. (Who am I kidding, I doubt I’ll be able to hold out that long..)

@Sunsunny17 oh wow I didn’t even know they were a thing! Have you ever used one? If no sign of AF or BFP in the next couple of days I’ll try one of those
