I'm a bit confused by my body this cycle. We have been TTC for 5months now. I'm now CD6 and have had 3 days of solid positive opks (test line darker than control).
For context I should be 18dpo (confirmed with opk and app only, no bbt). What I though was af arrived on 12th Jan for 2 and a bit days, bright red but so light I only just needed a liner and with some light cramps (just needed a hot water bottle). Usually I'm a 4-5 day gal, so heavy I use a large menstrual cup, very dark with lots of small clots (sorry for the tmi).
My cervix has been high and soft since 11dpo and the bleeding started on 12dpo, but cm is now thick white and creamy (like hand cream). It has remained like this since so thought I'd do an opk. I usually ovulate cd12-14 and have always have a rapid surge and decrease within a day or so. But now strong positives for 3 days running.
However used a FRER yesterday and not even a shadow of a line. I would have been 4+1 /17dpo. Does this mean even if I am my hcg is too low at this point for to be successful?
My mum did mention that when she was pregnant with one of her kids, she never got a positive hpt and had to get a blood test to confirm. Is this sort of think hereditary?
Has anyone heard of this sort of situation before?
Feel like I'm going crazy!!!
