Ovulation testing!!!

Hi all

So I’ve started ovulation testing again this cycle, I had stopped a few cycles ago because it was too much stress but here we are trying again…

Now, we’re on cycle 9 and obviously, we’ve had no luck, I had what I think was a chemical around cycle 4.

Anyway, back to the tests, I’m on cd10, I’ve only taken a couple of tests so far as they didn’t come for a while! But they don’t seem to be changing much in colour, I don’t know if it’s just me who's thinking they don’t look much different because I’m so worried that I’m not even ovulating (stupid I know, but I can’t help the worry) I keep thinking something should’ve happened by now…

Please tell me there isn’t anything to worry about and they do look like there’s a difference in colour, only worried as I’m using Premom and they're saying 0.01😬x

@Cruz86 oh don’t, I’ve already had too many of those, I’m not entirely sure I can actually cope through another!😂

@Newbiemg well that’s very reassuring for me, I’ve been a nervous wreck all day thinking there’s something wrong with me🙈

Finally got a high reading just now! It was about time🙈

@Chlo1995 I would deffo take that as your peak. That’s a strong positive. Premom won’t log an opk as your peak until the next one you log is lower and it can see that it was your highest one logged. Good luck!

@Chlo1995 you have time if you dtd tonight when he’s back and then tomorrow too. That should give you a good chance!

Keep testing and you will see when it drops back down and then you will know you have ovulated and you still have around 12-24 hours after you have ovulated too to try

your picture is calming me down.
I’m on CD 13 and there’s not even a hint of a line on my tests but my period tracker app is telling me this is my fertile window. I must ovulate a bit later in my cycle. Hopefully i’ll get my peak in a few days

@santastolemycat I was worried too but your ovulation can vary and the apps aren’t always accurate. Cycle 1 ttc I got my peak on CD13 and then cycle 2 I got my peak on CD16. All of my OPKs were low until the morning of CD16. Good luck

Still not any darker.
i’m wondering if i have missed it as i’ve only been doing one test a day due to work and looking after my toddler.
I did buy cheap test off amazon so maybe it’s a duff batch.
Ill try a few more days but maybe look at getting branded ones for next month.

@santastolemycat which CD are you now? Still time until CD22/23 in case you have a late ovulation. I was testing 2-3 times each day this month. Get Premom sticks- very reasonable price and they are great, in my opinion.

@GingerFox2021 today is day 18 i haven’t done one today yet need to get 5 minutes peace at nap time hopefully

@Chlo1995 glad you got your peak and it certainly is a peak!

Just for anyone that comes across this post, I wasn't getting great reading compared to other women I was talking to. My peak wasn't even that high. But I did get pregnant that cycle :) Not sure what cycle days those pics were on, the cycle days go away when you change from TTC to pregnant on the app. First month using easy@home test so I would def recommend them!

clearly i am a late ovulater!!
The premom app says it’s high at 0.86.
Would this be the peak or will it get higher!?

@santastolemycat I don’t think it’s peak but I would say you’re not far off! I’ve seen other posts of women saying they’ve gotten their peak as late as cd22!! Just keep testing and you’ll get there!x

i was hoping it wasn’t peak cos my husband has taken his sertraline today and he’ll find it hard to complete his side of the transaction
which is why we started using the stick so he would get a bit or warning not to take it a few days in advance.

Todays test is reading at 0.25 so i think that was my peak. Didn’t get a chance to do a test later on yesterday as my DS decided he didn’t want to go to bed last night.
I had a kinda cramping period pain in my side this morning so i’m wondering if that was me ovulating.

@santastolemycat my peak was at .88 so not far off yours. You may have ovulated today so I would try to DTD tonight, it might not be too late, you kinda need the sperm waiting there for the egg tho when it is released. You should be fairly covered tho if you DTD a few times this week already. Sperm lives up 3-5 days.

Sorry to jump on... Do these look positive as in peak? I took them about a week ago when the app said I should be on peak. I started getting egg white discharge about 4 days after though. We only dtd couple of times and used the conceive too. Just praying I was ovulating and we did at the right time as every month I never get one as strong as that. Had a mmc in May 21 and had no luck since.
