Hi all,

We've been trying for #1 for a year and Ive got a gp appointment booked for later this month to start investigations.

Before now, Ive used First Response and Clearblue tests but seeing as we werent getting anywhere, I decided to not buy anything... until I did a last min shop this morning 🤦🏻‍♀️ picked up a test from The Co-Op, and I have no idea how reliable these are!

Just done a test and I think I see a very faint line. I'm about 12dpo. What do you all think? Obviously, it's so faint that I'm not going to get my hopes up.. My main question is are these tests reliable?

I have absolutely NO symptoms, not even my usual AF symptoms. The only thing different at the moment is that I'm needing to pee all the time! And can't hold for very long!

Looks like a faint line to me. Everything crossed for you ❤️

Indianna2006 · 16/01/2022 13:38

Looks like a faint line to me too. But no idea on these co-op tests. Hopefully someone else can come along whose used one.

I shall keep fingers and toes crossed this is your BFP 🤞🏼

magd2901 · 16/01/2022 13:45

I see a line too! Haven’t used these tests before but looks positive to me :)

pollyparrot45 · 16/01/2022 13:52

I can see a faint line but depends on the light.
Time to go get yourself a FRER or a digital.

Fingers crossed for you

Dreamingof3 · 16/01/2022 15:19

No experience with these tests but there's definitely something there! I'd test again tomorrow 🤞

EishetChayil · 16/01/2022 15:35

Looks promising!

Frandler · 16/01/2022 15:44

Thank you everyone so far!

I've spent 12 months staring at blank/negative tests. One after the other.

This is the first time I've seen anything so I'm trying to not get my hopes up but thanks for confirming I'm not going mad! ❤️

Update.. I got to work super early to catch the opening of Sainsbury's. Got myself a digital and I'm so happy I did!

BFP almost a year to the day that we started trying. I'm in shock and disbelief.

So, conclusion... Co-op own brand tests aren't that bad!

Fingers crossed baby sticks and I've made it nice and happy in there for them ❤️🤞🤞🤞

Mumsnet has been a lifeline this past year. Thank you to all who commented! Wishing you all lots of baby dust

Aww wow!! Massive congratulations! So pleased it was a true BFP!

@FlyOnTheWall89 some hope!! A BFP on cycle 12. We can do this x

Frandler · 17/01/2022 08:03

Thank you @Indianna2006 🤗

My problem now is that I have absolutely no idea what to do next 🤦🏻‍♀️ 12 cycles of negatives and hadn't thought about what I'd need to do after a BFP?!

Wishing you luck this cycle 🤞 someone gave me a bit of hope a while back saying that the average length of trying to conceive is about 12 months.. thus if I hadn't conceived so far, it's my time soon as I approached the 1 year mark❤️ I hope that sort of makes sense and helps anyone whose feeling helpless. It's a tough ol' ride

@Frandler contact your Docters and midwife I imagine to get a booking appointment.

Thank you! I’ve just entered cycle 10 so deff need some hope!

Dreamingof3 · 17/01/2022 08:15

Congratulations 🎊

FlyOnTheWall89 · 17/01/2022 08:30

@Frandler so so happy for you. I just can't imagine the illation you must feel rn. Keeping everything crossed for you. Yes Vita West say 8 months is extremely normal... just doesn't feel that way when so many friends have been month 1/2/3. @Indianna2006 we can do this, just have to stay positive and believe that the closer we get to a year, the more likely (kind of)!!! Haha. 💕

MrsJ6921 · 20/01/2022 17:36

Congratulations, I bet you’re feeling all sorts of emotions but how exciting! I needed this today 🥰. We’re onto Cycle 7 TTC #1 and feeling like it will never happen but you’ve brought hope

Frandler · 20/01/2022 18:20

Thanks all! ❤️

All sorts of emotions is correct! Disbelief is probably the main one.

Keep going ladies, you've got this. Ironically this was the first month that I missed using OPKS because my clearblue reader wasn't working 🤦🏻‍♀️ so I guesstimated and didn't think it would work and was getting ready to order more OPKS.

TTc is so so hard. Now that I've experienced it, I will always have time for anyone who needs a chat. It can be such a lonely time.

Just keep going, that's all you can do ❤️I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you all to get your BFP too.
