Should I call the number for private in the letter or find another Fertility clinic?

Hi,
After getting turned down by letter for fertility treatment on the NHS in Hull (it was because I'm single :'( ). The letter said about going private. Probably a silly question but should I call the number given in the letter or look for a clinic myself?. Is there any difference? eg prices, waiting lists, etc.

I’m doing it all single - do some research on the clinics near you and choose your own.

@Kaoru35 hi I'm in your area & have used hull for both NHS & private treatment, the hull clinic operates as a private clinic too so yes it's saying call them to discuss private options. In terms of waiting private is quicker. However, my treatment was exactly the same for my nhs & private rounds, same doctors, same nurses, even over 4 years. The testing they do for instance AMH testing I did again in March 2020 & they said I wouldn't get the results any quicker being private as they still use the same channels to get the results. About 10 days.

Or they do Access fertility I think too

There isn't a clinic in York the other nearest ones are Leeds various ones

My friends were going to use Leeds when they fell pregnant & the costs were relatively similar but yes there could be differences in waits and costs at different places
