6 week scan but no fetal pole

I have had a few early miscarriages then had my little boy who is now a year. I found out I was pregnant and went for a scan which they said I was too early and to rescan a week later. I went to that scan yesterday but they could only see a gest sac of 13.8mm and yolk sac. They put me at 6 weeks 2 days.

Is this a bad sign that they couldn’t see a heartbeat or fetal pole?

Sorry to hear this OP, I know it's a worry when the scan doesn't go as expected.

I had a scan 2 days ago. I'm meant to be 7+5 but they dated me at 6+1 and said there was a fetal pole but no heart beat. Gestational sac 14.7mm.

It's a suspected missed miscarriage but I have to have a re scan in 1-2 weeks to confirm.

Hopefully in your case it's just too early to see the heartbeat x
