BFP yesterday but up all night with cramps

After a year of TTC was so excited yesterday to finally see a BFP but my hopes are fading this morning as I’ve been kept awake all night by cramps, they feel like period cramps, maybe a touch lower. Also my boobs which have been sore the last week seem fine today. Anyone had a similar experience? Should I be preparing myself for bad news?

Could it be that because you’ve got your BFP you’re concentrating more on the cramps? Particularly through the night when you’ve got nothing much else to do than overthink and worry? That sounds very much like something I would do!
Cramping is normal in early pregnancy, try not to panic ❤️
All I could suggest is if you think you’re perhaps having a chemical (assuming it’s an early BFP) you could keep testing and see if the line is getting fainter?
Or perhaps try to see your GP and ask them to take your blood and measure your HCG levels?
I hope it gets better for you OP! Sending positive vibes ✨

My last pregnancy I had awful cramps the week or so after my positive and it felt just like I was about to come on...she's now 2.5 years old 🙂 cramping can be completely normal. It's so hard but try not to worry too much and like pp said you could do another test for line progression (use the same brand and do it same time of day as bfp)

Thank you @Dreamingof3 and @daisiesblue I think there is prob def an element of additional worrying at night as they have not felt as strong today 🤞 I have also ordered some more tests so can test again in a few days of no developments

@Piper89 no advice but a few months off a year TTC. Did you change anything or did it just take time to eventually happen? Im sure you thought it too but it feels like it will never happen. X

Sorry meant to keep typing.... I'm not surprised you feel anxious. It must have been so amazing to finally see two lines. I'm keeping everything crossed for you. I've never been pregnant but I'm sure there will be lots of people who can share their advice x

@FlyOnTheWall89 yeah I too have had those it’s never going to happen feelings which is perhaps making me worry too much about these cramps but I guess only time will tell.
For the last six weeks me and my partner have both been taking procieve fertility vitamins, no idea if that’s what’s actually helped or if it just timing, they are quite expensive for vitamins but I figured after a year was worth a try. If this time doesn’t work out we will def both keeping them to try again. I hope you get some good news soon x
