My LH surge appears to be very quick...like if it starts to darken if I test every 4 hours I can catch it...is this normal?

With a 29-30 day cycle when would you start testing?

The bottom one is yes but not the top. Some people have a narrower window of LH surge. What CD are you on now? Id wait at least 12dpo, 14dpo if you can but I never manage waiting that long!
