How soon can you ttc after positive covid test?

I've been reading it's safe to ttc 10 days after a positive covid test, but with guidance changing for isolating surely this advice for ttc is changing too. Just wondering as I'm nearing ovulation and feeling nearly 100% back to normal so seems silly to put it off till next cycle.

Quite a few on here have been doing the deed with masks on!

The ten days thing is about protecting your partner. It’s impossible for it to affect the blastocyst etc. So the question is whether the partner who doesn’t have Covid is happy to get frisky with the one who does! Smile

That's helpful to know. Both dh and I have covid so that wasn't an issue. Neither of us unwell so I just wasn't sure if there was any other reason for the advice to wait 10 days. I couldn't find much online about it.

What did you decide?

Husband tested positive Saturday, I'm negative, ovulation is next weekend I think - was about to start test ovulation strips
