Anyone else starting 2WW today?

So the 2WW begins! I know there are a few threads on here but wanted to start one with people that ovulated around the same time so hopefully we'll be getting some BFPs together!

@Denguin BFN this morning on an Internet cheapie. Got some FRER coming but also from Amazon. Just want to know either way now so I can move on to next month and it's our wedding anniversary so would be kind of nice to conceive then.

It’s so frustrating @MrsSamRowley, isn’t it? I don’t know what is happening but I got another BFN today. I am going to email my GP tomorrow If my period does not arrive today as that would put me on a 39 day cycle which is much more than my usual 30 day.

@Denguin I have heard in other threads of people not testing positive until a week or more after the period was due so I'm holding out for that but with my daughter I had a BFP at 11dpo so trying to be realistic too! Just want to know either way as the waiting and not knowing is the worst!

@MrsSamRowley sorry to hear about the BFN on the internet cheapie, try not to lose hope though as I imagine they're not as sensitive as a FRER. Keeping everything crossed for you!

Any update @Denguin? Still no period and my FRER have arrived from Amazon so I'm fighting the urge to test!

Yeah @Denguin hope you're doing ok! That sounds like a very long cycle so hoping it's a good sign for a BFP and that it's just not showing on a test just yet.

@MrsSamRowley you're doing so well not caving and doing a test. When are you thinking of testing?

@LittleMrsMama I'm going to do a FRER with FMU tomorrow. Just want to know what's going on now as this cycle has been so odd! Typical the month I decide to start TTC and it goes weird on me!

Unfortunately not - AF started this morning! But at least I know now and can move onto next month. It was only the 1st month and I am 36 so trying not to be too disheartened! How old are all of you if you don't mind me asking?

@LittleMrsMama @MrsSamRowley still bfn and no sign of my period. I’ve contacted my GP so will see what they say.

I’m sorry to hear that AF has arrived @mrssamrowley. I’m 35 so understand that feeling.

@Denguin fingers crossed the GP has some answers for you as no sign of AF means you're not out yet, but it's tough to keep seeing BFNs! Keeping everything crossed for you.

I feel a bit down as we DTD loads this month and definitely around my fertile days, but need to remind myself it's just going to be harder now I'm over 35, even though I feel exactly the same! On to next month though...only a week or so until the fun "active" part of the TTC cycle!

@LittleMrsMama @AmberRH1993 how are you guys feeling? Are you still testing for line progression?

@MrsSamRowley I'm so sorry to hear that. AF is the worst any time let alone when TTC. I hope you'll treat yourself to some wine tonight! It sounds like you did absolutely everything possible, its frustrating there isn't some sort of magic formula which leads to pregnancy and D2D is so tiring!

I'm 30 so I think fairly average-ish compared to other mumsnetters. I did another test today and BFP. Still fainter than I would like but I'm going to stop daily testing now because it's driving me crazy and I'm not even properly celebrating and enjoying the moment, even if it's not sticky.

@Denguin I hope the drs are able to give you some answers and hope even more that it's a BFP! It must be really confusing to have no AF but still BFN! I've read posts from a few mumsnetters who have not got their BFP a few days or a week after AF was due so fingers crossed it's the same for you!

@LittleMrsMama there is an opened bottle of red at home with my name on it! Got a new pack of OPKs en route from Amazon and will have a week to chill until it all starts up again. If I conceive this month my due date will be 1st Nov so could still sneak into October! My daughter was 9 days early so in my mind the same will happen next time - although there's no science in that whatsoever!

Defo have a break from testing and try to enjoy that post BFP high! So hard not to worry in early pregnancy but more than likely everything is absolutely fine. Nothing like a BFP to battle the post Christmas/January blues!
