Which day did I ovulate - I disagree with FF?! (OPK/BBT data)

I got my peak OPK at some time between 12pm and 6pm on Saturday, PreMom ratios as below:

12pm - 0.45
3pm - 1.23
6pm - 1

I think it will have been closer to 12pm than 6pm, as I tend to shoot up quickly then fall back down more slowly.

On Sunday morning, my BBT shot up, and so Fertility Friend has set my ovulation day as the day of my peak OPK, i.e. Saturday.

But everything I've read says that ovulation takes at least 12 hours after peak OPK, so the earliest the egg would have been released would have been the early hours of Sunday morning. But then would that account for the BBT raise at 8:30?

Would be great to get any thoughts from expert OPKers?! Smile

Remember that when you test with an OPK you've had to wait for the LH to come through your urine. So just because your peak reading was at 3pm doesn't mean your surge was exactly then. I'd trust the temp rise in this case tbh.

I think BBT is the most accurate way to confirm ovulation and it usually rises the day after ovulation, so I would say you ovulated Saturday
