The early response pregnancy tests saying negative.

Shall I assume I’m completely out? Sad do the early response clear blue ever not pick it up until missed period?

We DTD all the days we should (including using those really expensive ovulation tests). Funny as no effort at all with DS and for pregnant first time!!

I can’t help I’m afraid but in a similar situation. Not sure when I ovulated exactly but I’m on CD27 of a typical 30 day cycle and got a BFN yesterday on a FRER test. No symptoms of AF yet though so don’t think either of us are completely out until it arrives Smile

If its an early one then yes I'd assume out, unfortunately. Also consider adjusting your expectations just a bit. You got very lucky with your DS. Even with perfect fertility and perfectly timed sex, the chance of conceiving each cycle is 25-30%. Its normal to take up to a year to conceive. Assuming you'll conceive immediately might be setting yourself up for sadness. Better luck to you next time.

I also agree with this that ultimately you aren't out till the red lady shows up!

I knew this was all the case but was still hopeful 🤦‍♀️

Sorry to be the harsh voice of reality here @BiscuitLover3678 - I've not had the best luck, so am a bit salty but also know how much it hurts and getting one's hopes up too far can be very painful. Hope that you get very lucky again for DC2!

I'm in the same boat. I'd assume out.
Plus I read something in a study that showed even if implantation does occur 11 DPO (so a positive the day before a period is due in theory) it is 82% likely to end in a chemical or similar. So I stop testing by 12 DPO and just wait for the period.
