TWW and lemsip with decongestant

Just taken some paracetamol with decongestant without remembering I'm on the two week wait 🤦‍♀️ I feel awful for not pausing to think.

Has anyone sought advice on over the counter medicines and ttc/tww? What is the advice?

Hi OP. I was very poorly in the tww that resulted in my BFP. Took all of the meds under the sun, including Sudafed and night nurse.

I’m now 8 weeks and so far so good. The placenta doesn’t fully develop and start to support and pass things to baby until 8-12 weeks. You’ll be fine ☺️ Some medicines can give you a false positive on a pregnancy test, so just watch out for that.

Are you not supposed to take those things when pregnant? it’s my first time trying and I clearly know very little!

During the TWW the baby wouldn’t be connected to your blood as the placenta hasn’t been developed yet so you don’t need to worry that you have taken this. Good luck, I hope you have a BFP

Thanks for the replies! You'd think third time round you'd know what I was doing but I've not gotten ill at this point before so wasn't sure. May not even be an issue but yes, fingers crossed for a bfp.
