Anyone in their two week window for Christmas? Are you still drinking?

I'm not actively TTC tracking stuff etc but we are having unprotected sex as often as we can with a view to having a baby.

Tww I'm halfway through, I have had perhaps three drinks over Christmas. My tww ends New Year's Eve - how much are you guys drinking if yours falls now?

Also, would it be bad to wait until New Year's Day to test! I'd quite like a couple New Year's Eve without feeling guilty 😭

I’m in a similar situation. No idea what I’m doing in terms of tracking but we are having sex with the hope to conceive. Also in the TWW between 24th December & beginning of January. I totally forgot on Christmas Day & had a few glasses then felt really bad. So I don’t plan to have any over New Year, just incase…

I’m in TWW (Ovulated around Christmas Day). I’ve decided to drink a small amount during this period as I was pregnant last Christmas so couldn’t enjoy a glass and have been alcohol free all year due to breastfeeding/dieting! had a couple of glasses of Prosecco on Xmas day and the odd mulled cider, but not much. I will be giving up the alcohol again in January though, whether this cycle is successful or not.

I'm in the tww and although I don't actually drink, if I did, I wouldn't cut back.

The foetus is totally self sufficient for the first 7 weeks in uterus- then it starts taking from you via the cord. So any alcohol drunk before this wouldn't even get to the baby.

On MN the general consensus seems pro drinking until there's a line but I don't understand why every single article goes against it? I just don't know who or what to believe 🤷‍♀️
