So I know what this likely means...I've miscarried twice before and it's not my first rodeo. However, normally after getting a negative test I start bleeding within the same day/ by the next day and this time I have not. I still have symptoms and still no period. I am seriously worried about an ectopic because I am having some pain in my shoulders :/ I would have thought the positives were fake but they were over several days from different brans, including a blood finger prick test!

I'm really upset and just don't know what to do. I don't know how to break it to hubby because he was so happy, and I don't see how I should be expected to go to work to solve other peoples problems (NHS 119) when at this point I don't care much because mine seems like the end of the world! We weren't actually trying and it made me realise how much I want it :(

What am I supposed to do now to find out? When can I expect to bleed? Are there any positive stories that sound like mine?

OP I don't mean to scare you but if you possibly think it could be an ectopic you need to get seen ASAP. I had an ectopic some years ago, a few days before I felt faint and on the day I was taken to hospital I had the most severe pain and by then I was rushed into surgery with ruptured tubes it all happened so fast. I had no symptoms at first and only ever had a faint positive test so please get that checked. Have you taken another one from another brand maybe the one you took couldn't pick up. I'd definitely get checked though. Good luck

OP, echo the above, if you think it could be an ectopic then I’d really recommend going down to your local EPU for a scan. Tell them ylu think it could be ectopic.

Were the lines you got strong on your tests? When did you get the negative test?

Hugs to you
