What was the outcome?

And any other influencing factors- age at conception, embryo quality etc?

Ours were only early blasts on day 5, hence why they put in two (to give us the best chance of having one baby!)
I was 32, low AMH, (only had 7 viable eggs and 6 fertilise) and they both started school this term!
Good luck xx

I had 2 poor quality (3CB and 3CC) put back and I am now 20 weeks with 1 of them. I was 34 at transfer with low AMH and high BMI. They only agreed to put 2 back because they didn't think I stood a good chance of achieving pregnancy and I didnt like the thought of just 'throwing them away' if there was any chance at all.

AmIgoinghomeforXmas · 23/12/2021 22:28

My pair are now sulky teens but I still love them.

We were early 30's and they were okay quality, the only two that were.

lboogy · 23/12/2021 22:55

38 , bmi 30, unexplained infertility, 2 transfers, 1 4 yr old. Pco not pcos..
42, bmi 31, unexplained infertility . Twins aged 5 months

Natsukine · 23/12/2021 22:59

We may have to go down this road - what BMI should I be aiming for?

Lovely stories. Best of luck @TeddyTonksGirlfriend Smile

On the other side of this option.

Two decent quality frozen blasts put back, failed. My clinic weren't very pushy for either one or two to be put back really, just left it to us.

I'm 34, average BMI. I do have endometriosis but not sure if that's why they didn't stick. My transfer before it failed as well and that was one fresh blast, so who knows what will eventually (if ever) work.

TeddyTonksGirlfriend · 23/12/2021 23:11

@Pinkstars2501 this is my tenth transfer. I've had a number of BFNs, early losses, a vanishing twin and two healthy babies so far...if you have the emotional capacity, health and finances to keep trying it can be worth it! Equally it's a hugely brave decision to stop. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Thanks everyone for your comments. My question probably seems silly in light of the above info, but we've never transferred two decent 5 day blasts before Blush
