I wasn't on depo, but implanon which is the same hormone but a slightly lower dose. When I came off it, I did OPK tests every day so I could figure out what my cycle looked like. I recommend getting an app and a thermometer. You won't have been ovulating so you'll need to find out what your cycle looks like now. It can take a few months to get back to normal so don't panic if it seems a bit unpredictable. Just keep recording symptoms, temp and opk tests. FWiW I opk every day and got pregnant immediately - I didn't even have a period. I think this is very rare though, and most people experience a few months of disrupted cycles. Good luck!

Thanks for ur reply yes does seem impossible but to be fair iv only missed my depo 4 days so have a long way yet having a withdrawl bleed and the moment also cramping so feels like pms but I know this is to early yet. I have opk will test as much as I can and note it down. Wow that's was quick for you. Hopefully my body works as fast...

The implant is different as once out your body it's fine and so are the primes. The injection can take a very long time to wear off. For me I was on it for about a year then stopped. Took over a year for periods to return. The second time I just had one injection then changed my mind so didn't have any more. Took 18 months that time. Hopefully yours is quicker but a long wait is quite possible. They should really make that clearer

You might not need to. The first time I came off depo I was pregnant 7 weeks later. I had 3 babies in 5 years and I was on depo on in between all 3 of them. It can take ages, but it doesn’t necessarily take a long time to leave your system.

I was on it for 4.5 years, off for 7 weeks and then got pregnant with DC1, back on for 9 months, it took 13 months to get pregnant with DC2 (still breastfeeding). Back on for 9 months, took 6 months to get pregnant with DC3.
