6 flashing smileys on OPK

Just wondering how many flashing smileys people tend to get in the Clearblue OPK? I'm on day 6 and was expecting a static by now so worried I've missed it

Hi op I don't get any flashing smileys! I only got one static and the days before and after that were all empty smileys. So they do seem a bit subjective!

What cd are you? Just keep trying!

I got 10 days of flashy smileys before my static- ovulated late CD 21 if I remember correctly- and that was the cycle I got pregnant 😊 we were dtd every other day on the lead up to that static as I didn't want to potentially miss anything.

I actually made a post myself as the smileys were doing my head in, was advised to keep going so I'd advise the same lol.

I have between 4 and 6 usually. I have also realised in recent months that it's worth testing twice a day when getting closer to predicted O as I've had a couple of statics in the afternoon/evening.
I did have one cycle of 9 but this was the cycle of my first covid jab so put it down to that! I think anything up to 10 is normal on the box?

Oh how strange! CD15 now and was expecting to ovulate today and definitely have had ovulation pains today so not sure what's going on but I'll keep going, we've been DTD every day so.. hopefully we haven't missed it!

They're so annoying aren't they flashing away at you haha, that's good to hear thank you I will keep going! Going to do a second one today now... let's see if there's been any changes today, I'm on CD15 and day 6 of flashing smileys

Fingers crossed 6 is my max too! I hope it's not 10, I don't think it will be with the pains I can feel but who knows I've never monitored my ovulation so closely before so could be days away still

CD18 and after 8 days of flashing smileys I finally have my static this morning! And yesterday was the only bloody day we haven't DTD in this cycle, Christmas just took over completely! Today is the day 😊

On the 10th day it finally went static. I had a circle, 8 flashing smileys and then today on the 10th day of testing it's finally gone static, sorry if TMI but I can also 100% tell from my discharge as it's very to the description of what it should be today and I do get that every day I've just never monitored before which CD it is

I was similar with yday - I had 6 flashing faces starting on CD9 and got my peak yday (CD15) didn't manage to DTD yday just Christmas took over. Did really well on the lead up though - 7,8,11,12,13 & 14 and will do today 16 & tomorrow morning 17. We have been trying for over a year though so my optimism is never that high anymore sadly.

@tryingforbabyh You certainly did do well! Christmas definitely took over for us too. We DTD every day from 17th Dec until today minus Christmas Day so we couldn't have done much more! It must be so hard to keep optimistic after trying for so long. Have you spoken with your Dr yet or waiting it out a bit longer first? I hope this is the month for us both, wishing you lots of baby dust xx

Every day from 17th!! Impressive! We have had some basic tests done and his sperm, my AMH,FSH,LH & progesterone are all fine. I had an ultrasound just over a year ago for something else and my ovaries etc looked okay. Weve decided as the first few months were just off contraception and not really knowing what we were doing timing etc wise that we will give it another 3 cycles after this one before looking at further options...just hoping we don't need to! A girl can dream!!

@tryingforbabyh haha I think we're both enjoying not using condoms to be honest, I've been off the pill for about 18 months so that itself has helped I think!
Ah I see, that makes complete sense, everything crossed for you that you don't need to make an appt! 🤞🏼
