Can what the doctors thought was a cyst be an early pregnancy

Hey all,

Just been reading back through some medical notes in relation to what is going on with my body at the moment and if I am pregnant or not. When I was admitted to hospital on the 8th November, with abdominal pain, they did an internal ultrasound because I was having unusual spotting at the time. So they wanted to see if that could be what was causing the abdominal pain.
While conducting this ultrasound, the people conducting the ultrasound found what appeared to be a cyst/object at my endometrial junction.

What I am trying to ask is that could this of not been a cyst at al but actually an early pregnancy??? I am still waiting to speak to gynaecology about the findings of the this ultrasound.

For context I was admitted to hospital for what the doctors thought was biliary colic and because of the unusual bleeding they decided to do an internal ultrasound.

It might sound cray but I am just wondering if what they found could of been an early pregnancy or if I am overthinking it as when I looked at ultrasounds they both look very similar.

I honestly feel like I am going crazy with all of this and just in need of answers

@Gillseybear - take a test, it is really the only way to know x

Sorry OP but if you’ve not got a positive test (they would have tested surely?) it’s incredibly unlikely.

Having had dozens upon dozens of transvaginal ultrasounds through several IVF cycles, egg harvesting and early pregnancy scans, I can only say that everyone that scanned me was very experienced and knew what they were seeing. Right down to a very early pregnancy sac when I was bleeding then spotting the fetal pole on the next scan.

I hope you find some answers.

Thank you all for your responses I had a feeling it was me going crazy. I just want to figure out what is going on with my body but my doctors have been no help and I just feel so let down at the moment. Not sure what to do for the best. I know the NHS is under a lot of pressure with covid and everything but to be told by one doctor they can help and then when you speak to a different doctor a week later and they refuse to do anything it has really left me in limbo. So just trying to find answers.

I have done so many tests and they have all come back negative yet I am having so many pregnancy symptoms and AF is over a week late now. The nausea and occasional vomiting along with the lower back ache are horrible. Along with the achy boobs, needing to pee more and I have no energy.

All I wanted them to do was a couple of blood tests so that I had a difinitive answer before I went home for Christmas as if I am pregnant I need to make changes to plans and watch my diet ext
