How many days of flashing smileys did you get?

Sorry in advance because I’ve asked so many questions in the last few days.

I’m using the CB advanced OPKs with the smiley faces.

I started using them too early in my cycle as I took period delay tablets this month and I wasn’t sure whether to go by my original cycle dates or the new delayed cycle dates so I just went with the original dates so I didn’t miss anything.

So started testing on Friday CD5 (original CD10).

Friday - Blank smiley
Saturday- Flashing smiley
Sunday Am- Flashing smiley
Sunday Pm- Flashing smiley
Monday (today) Am- Flashing smiley

I’m now on CD8 (original CD13 as period was delayed for 5 days).

I tracked my last 3 cycles using the Flo app and they were all slightly different.

Sept- 27 days
Oct- 26 days
Nov- 30 days

(I have been tested for PCOS and things in the past and I don’t have that or anything else wrong that I know of).

So I know I’ve tested very early and it’s only CD8 so I probably should expect a few more flashing smileys but based on my above cycles when would you guess roughly that I would get my static? Flo app has just put it at CD13 every month regardless of my cycle length.

Or as my cycles aren’t exactly the same is it too hard to predict?

My OH goes away this week and I’m just being a little impatient wondering if we will catch it this month or not.

I think I’d expect static on 13/14/15 - don’t be obsessed with that though, just DTD from day 10 every other day for a week and you’ll definitely cover it. If you desperately want to know when your surge is, you’ll have to keep testing, but you’ve tested super early so you’ll need quite a few tests! X

I got another flashing smiley this morning so now I’ve had 4 days of flashing smileys.

Friday - Blank
Saturday Am- Flashing
Sunday Am and Pm - Flashing
Monday Am and Pm- Flashing
Tuesday (today) Am - Flashing

I am only CD9 today (if I didn’t delay my AF according to Flo app today would have been my ovulation day and CD14).

Think I will take your advice and start to dtd every other day from today but keep testing. I have 11 test strips left so hopefully I catch my peak before they run out
