Positive or Evap line?

Hey, I'm not 100% sure when I ovulated because I only had a 3 days period last month and my app is saying was due my period last Tue but that is a lot shorter cycle than usual my usual averages 28 days so to my calculation I should be due on Saturday! Anyway I took a HCG strip test yesterday and it was negative then I took two this morning and I can see a v v v faint second line! It was after 5 mins but I got given these tests so I don't know the time frame you should read! Could someone please help can you see a second line? Could it be an evap line??

Why oh WHY do people do this on here? I know people want to be pregnant, and are excited at the thought of it, but it's so cruel to build peoples hopes up like this.

There is nothing wrong with my eyesight and I do NOT need to go to Specsavers. Just like on the other thread the other day, THIS is a negative pregnancy test. The Emporers New Clothes shit on these threads just baffles me!

THERE IS ONLY ONE LINE HERE.

Anyone who sees 2 lines is imagining things, or needs an eye test WAAAAAY more than me!

There's definitely a second line on that @PinkAndPurpleClouds its a faint positive to me but I can see it with out looking too closely.

I can see a faint line, keeping everything crossed for you.

To be honest, and I mean this in the kindest way possible, I think you best test when you're experiencing a missed period. Line will be much clearer then and at least you're not getting your hopes up unnecessarily if you're not pregnant xx

We can see a line. You can't, fair enough. Just stop going round stating your - wrong - opinion as fact.

Where is the second line? Confused I am not being horrible, I GENUINELY cannot see one, and it upsets me and infuriates me that people give false hope to people TTC!

No, it's because you can't see what's there. There is a very faint second line! It's fine, you can't see it. Others can, whether due to screen resolution, different eyesight, years of practice etc.

You'd have hated my IC test with DS. Fainter than this, and I was absolutely, nailed on, without a doubt, pregnant!

ICs are shite at getting blazing positives...I only ever got squinters! Some people need to learn when to step away. Hopefully she hasn't scared this OP off, unlike the poor one from last time.

I can see where people THINK there's a second line. It doesn't have colour. It's an indent or evap.

I would never, ever pretend to see a line. There’s a clear but faint line to me. I really hope it goes exactly as the OP wants.

The line denier screams at other posters just because she can’t see anything, but is she really arguing that her hollering “100% negative posts” are kind to the OP? Madness.

There's always the risk of picking up a chemical pregnancy when you're testing early. I accepted that as part of my obsession when TTC, and did have a chemical pregnancy along the way with DD.

I really hope this is the start of a healthy pregnancy for the OP. Like you, I'd never say I could see a line if I really couldn't. But I often can when others can't. That's just my eyesight / practice.

We'll soon find out! I'm hopeful! Definitely let you know and I don't think anyone is lying I just think she genuinely can't see it which is fine but obviously more people can see it so seems positive to me! X
