Hi All,

Been TTC for 9 years now. After a few miscarriages we decided to stop and go on the contraceptive patch.

I came off the patch due to having covid in November and was unable to collect my prescription.

Just taken a test....can you see a line???

I can see a faint line and I'm usually rubbish at this game. However having also had a body that took it's own sweet time to conceive I wouldn't trust it until I'd done 3 more different brands and seen it in words on a digital. Please let us know how you get on when your other tests arrive, fingers crossed for you.

Some people on here need their eyes testing if there’s supposed no second line. It’s faint, but not squinter faint.
The trouble is, 99% of the time I can't see a line. I can see one on this one, but there have been people who have insisted there is a "clear line" on the 99% where I can't see one.

Which is why these threads are fundamentally flawed. They don't change whether or not the OP is or isn't pregnant.

Why do you think PinkAndPurpleClouds is lying? She's not revelling in anything by not seeing it.

She’s not saying she can’t see it, she’s saying it doesn’t exist. Big difference. She’s basically declaring her word law even though most of us can see it.

So I'll have my PCR and you get a digital test and we'll meet back in the middle Wink

Definitely a line. This one isn't even close. It doesn't look like the test is dry yet though.

I can clearly see a faint line there OP. They often look like that very early in a pregnancy when the hormones haven't become very strong yet. Are you familiar enough with your cycles to know how many days post ovulation you are, or whether you've missed a period yet?

Hey OP! My positive test was like that till I was about 10-11 weeks. DD is now 6 months old so don't lose hope!

I do and I am SO hopeful for you, but I have had a hideous time with those types of tests so I wouldn't allow myself to get properly excited until I'd taken a FRER. But very tentative excited congratulations.

@PinkAndPurpleClouds just for some context, the thread you were on yesterday saying that there was no second line - she then got a blazing positive on a FRER. I wonder if maybe you might have slight colour blindness, which is why you're not seeing what other people are?

Update - did a first response this morning and got a big negative.

I’m so sorry OP. After your second post / the update with the test which had a negative line, I was going to say that that happened to me when I had a chemical / very early miscarriage. The HCG lines never get very strong then it fades to negative. I didn’t want to say that before as it might upset you but I assume that’s what’s happened now you have a negative test.

You’ll probably get your period in the next few days. Take it easy and hope you feel ok Flowers
