New to TTC - no peak on clearblue advanced digital?

Hi all,

I’m hoping that there may be some ladies out there that can offer me some advice to stop my anxious mind going mental!

As my subject says I am new to TTC. I started tracking my ovulation last month (October) - I have had irregular periods since I had my covid vaccinations so they tend to be between 28-32 days, however last month I had 1 short cycle of 21 days. I followed the Clear Blue Advanced Digital Ovulation Test Kit instructions and started testing on Day 6 as I was unsure when my ovulation had been and the previous month I used the cheap sticks on the day my Flo app predicted and never had a positive.

Anyway, last month I tested for peak fertility (flashing smiley face) on the 9th day, I seemed to skip the high fertility but I was so happy I actually did ovulate (always been anxious I may not) that I didn’t think about it. Fast forward to now, I had a 32 day cycle and tested again from around Day 7, on Day 13th I had my first high fertility and I’m now on 5 days with no peak…

I was wondering is this normal at all? It’s strange because the first two days of my high ovulation I had tender boobs, slight cramps, mucus etc. But now days later I don’t have any of that.. is it possible I just haven’t ovulated, but then why am I still getting high?! I’m quite confused by it all, I did also see that you can potentially have LH too low to pick up but have still ovulated but I’m just starting to panic. I’m so early on in the TTC train but I really feel like a deer in headlights and this whole thing is making me anxious.

Not sure what I’m expecting from this but just some general advice/understanding as to is this normal to skip ovulation a cycle? Or to miss a peak but still get pregnant? Any advice/experience is really appreciated.

Ellie x

Sorry I meant I tested for Peak with the normal smiley face, not flashing!
