Still getting faint lines and still feel pregnant 2 weeks after possible chemical

Hi all
So I had a positive pregnancy test on the 30th October when I was 11dpo and then a positive digital on Wednesday the 3rd November.
However on Friday the 5th I began bleeding and this was quite heavy on and off for 6 days. However unlike the chemical pregnancy I had in July this time I didn't pass clots of blood.

Anyway I guessed its just another chemical pregnancy and tried to get my head around that.

Anyway, almost 2 weeks later, I'm still having pregnancy symptoms and have nausea, fatigue, sensitive boobs, very hungry, struggling with sleep. I also have excessive discharge which is odourless and clear like water. But so much that my pants are getting wet patches.
I did a pregnancy test just to see what it would show on the rare off chance that I could possibly still be pregnant (probably being silly!)

It's showing a faint line. It's very faint but it's there. But surely I would now be having strong lines if I was still pregnant.

I know I'm being probably very silly in even thinking I could still be pregnant but I feel I could do with talking about this a bit.

Thanks in advance for anyone who reads or comments 😊

You need to go to your early pregnancy assessment unit. It could be retained products that will need a very brief surgical d and c to remove. They will often give you a blood test and a scan to double check before surgery. Retained products of conception can cause some pretty nasty infections all as prolonging pregnancy symptoms desire there being a non viable pregnancy.

Hi there - I had a chemical pregnancy loss 5.5 weeks ago in the very early stages - around 5 weeks). I was scanned in epu and nothing in uterus. Fove and a half weeks later I'm still getting positive preg tests. They don't get any darker and they don't get any lighter. CB weeks indicator still saying 1-2 weeks so it's not a new pregnancy - the hcg level is just taking forever to go down. At this stage I'm praying for a period in the hopes it'll bring the remaining hcg down and we can try again with a new cycle. I know it's probably not what you want to hear but it's possible to have detectable hcg for a long time even after early loss

Hello, I realised I had another digital test and have done that. It came back as not pregnant which I'm relieved about so I'm guessing my levels have just taken a little while to come down. I'm sorry to hear about what you are going through. Sending virtual hugs

Hey sam2mums, I had a chemical with the exact same timelines as you...positive tests on Weds 3rd then bleeding from the Friday. Went to EPU for early scan and bloods last Wednesday.

I had 2nd bloods yesterday and they have confirmed my HCG is now back at pre-pregnancy levels, but last Wednesday it was still 27 despite a few days of bleeding, which is enough to cause a BFP, so they do take a little while to go down.

Sorry for your loss Flowers, it's shit isn't it.
